Primary Care Physician
PRIMARY CARE OPPORTUNITY in CHICAGO’s NORTHERN SUBURBS
An independent, innovative, physician owned medical practice experiencing strong growth in Northern Chicago Suburbs (www.healncure.com) is looking for an Internist or Family Practitioner to join the practice.
Staff and Patients
Our physician is board certified as an Internist and as a Bariatrician(non surgical). We have long term and congenial support staff, pleasant work environment and conveniently located office. Our patients are considerate and grateful for our care (www.healncure.com/testimonials). We have a favorable demographics and insurance payor mix.
Full Time Practice Manager
We have a full time Practice Manager to address technology, administration, human resources, billing, reimbursement and malpractice coverage issues. So you can focus on patient care.
Electronic Medical Records
We have a CCHIT certified web based EMR, scheduling and billing system, allowing seamless access to patient records. Our web presence also offers patients easy access to information and registration. We are promoting Health2.0 (www.health2con.com) concepts by investing in leading edge technologies. We are empowering patients and information exchange by opening a patient portal, enabling patients to request appointments, refills and compare pharmacy costs. We have significant investment in diagnostic equipment and can offer many procedures and diagnostics on site, leading to increased compliance and improved quality of care. We support the “Medical Home” initiative and implement the principles in our practice.
Salary and Benefits
We offer an attractive base compensation and productivity bonus. Benefits include CME, covered malpractice, and paid vacation, 401K. Will also consider hourly or salaried pay arrangement with trial period. No relocation provided.
Location
We are located in the Glen at Glenview, a northern suburb of Chicago. We will be moving to a newer, bigger office at a high end retail location in Northbrook, in the Willow Festival Annex(picture enclosed), by February, 2010. The northern suburbs have numerous charming shopping locales and famous restaurants. These suburbs offer excellent golfing, superb cycling and jogging trails. We are close to Ravinia Music Festival and the Chicago Botanic Garden. We have excellent school districts and easy access to downtown Chicago (40mins) and O’Hare airport (20mins). The Lake Shore offers a variety of recreational opportunities.
The Candidate
Applicant must be board certified or board eligible. Strong candidate will be personable, intelligent, efficient, effective with multi-problem patients, will help cover hospital and nursing home patients. Candidate should have excellent professional /academic references and credentials. Familiarity with EMR and online health applications, and procedure skills to boost practice revenue would be pluses.

Office is being equipped with sleek laptops in every exam room, allowing physicians access to EMR, and patients access to patient portal. Patients will be able to view educational videos related to their health conditions.
