It is recommended that you wait until after your last postpartum visit with your doctor (usually 6 weeks after birth) to begin your Zerona® treatment. It is not recommended if you are breast feeding.
 

Yes, with additional treatments you can expect to see improved results. You can start an additional series of Zerona® treatments immediately following your last treatment. Speak to your technician or physician about any discount programs that may apply.
 

Yes, with two exceptions. If you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant, Zerona® should not be used. Additionally, if you have a pacemaker, this treatment may not be for you. There are no known detrimental risks but potential unknown risks may exist. Zerona® may not be as effective on patients with diabetes or thyroid disorders where the metabolic system is potentially impaired.

Yes, there is no risk involved in using the Zerona® low-level laser therapy, and it is being considered as a safe alternative to invasive procedures such as tumescent liposuction and lipodissolve and other non-invasive devices like the Accent, VelaShape, and Thermage ,which rely on heating the tissue and can cause discomfort. An effective treatment requires a clear target (hair follicle) for the laser. Your treatment area should be shaved recently to provide clear targets. Please shave within two to three days prior to your laser aesthetic treatment to ensure smooth and effective procedure. Prior to your procedure please discuss with us any hormonal issues.

For optimal outcomes please don’t expose your skin to sun for an extensive period of time or tan before the procedure. We recommend to wait until the tan fades, although you can still achieve great results while having a tan. Patients scheduled for hair removal should avoid plucking, electrolysis or hair waxing for six weeks prior to their laser aesthetic treatments. Your skin should be clean and thoroughly cleansed and dried prior to the procedure. Note: Sun burnt skin cannot be treated.
