Each treatment you will be met by our physician or trained technician who will position the laser at the desired areas of the body, he/she will step out for 20 minutes while the front of your body is treated, and then will return to reset for the backside of your body for an additional 20 minutes. Once you are done, you can get back to your normal activities immediately with absolutely no downtime, nor pain, swelling or any discomfort. This is a symptom-free process except for losing unwanted inches.

Yes, with two exceptions. If you are pregnant or think you may be pregnant, Zerona® should not be used. Additionally, if you have a pacemaker, this treatment may not be for you. There are no known detrimental risks but potential unknown risks may exist. Zerona® may not be as effective on patients with diabetes or thyroid disorders where the metabolic system is potentially impaired.
Yes, there is no risk involved in using the Zerona® low-level laser therapy, and it is being considered as a safe alternative to invasive procedures such as tumescent liposuction and lipodissolve and other non-invasive devices like the Accent, VelaShape, and Thermage ,which rely on heating the tissue and can cause discomfort. None of these have the proven data showing how fat cell size is reduced like the Zerona®. The Zerona® treatment is 100% non-invasive and causes no bruising, scaring and zero downtime. During the treatment you will feel no discomfort, no anesthesia will be used and you can assume normal activities immediately following each treatment.
No, Zerona® treatments are considered elective and are not covered by insurance.
The Zerona® laser is the only completely safe and effective non-invasive treatment for body slimming on the market today. There is no possibility of injury. No technician will be pushing on you or using any device against your body. You will simply relax beneath the Zerona® lights.
Liposuction is an invasive procedure that removes the entire area of fat cells from deposits beneath the skin using a hollow stainless steel tube (called a cannula) with the assistance of a powerful vacuum. Liposuction can be accomplished either with the use of general anesthesia, or with IV sedation, or totally by local anesthesia. In contrast, the Zerona® treatment is a 100% non-invasive that uses a low level laser applied externally to stimulate the fat cell and emulsify and release fat. There is no use of anesthesia, nor any pain, gels, creams, numbing agents, needles and no downtime.
Yes, for some clients. Heal n Cure does not recommended this treatment for patients with thyroid disease, diabetes or any other disorders where the metabolic system could be impaired and/or their lymphatic and hepatic system is unable to process the fat. If you’re concerned about possible complications, make sure you discuss treatment safety with our Board Certified Physician specializing in non-invasive procedures.
The latest FDA cleared model is a safe alternative to invasive procedures such as tumescent liposuction and lipodissolve and other non-invasive devices, which rely on heating the tissue and can cause discomfort. Integrate a BMI calculator LINK
Body mass index (BMI) uses height and weight measurements to estimate how much body fat a person has. To calculate BMI, divide weight in kg by height in meters squared; for pounds and inches, divide weight by height squared and multiply the result by the conversion factor 703. An easier way to measure BMI is to use a BMI calculator. Once you know your child's BMI, it can be plotted on a standard BMI chart. Kids fall into one of four categories:
- Underweight: BMI below the 5th percentile
- Normal: BMI at the 5th and less than the 85th percentile
- Overweight: BMI at the 85th and below 95th percentiles
- Obese: BMI at or above 95th percentile
Preventing kids from becoming overweight sometimes means adapting or changing your family’s overall approach to health, wellness, exercise and nutrition. Changing the way the family understands nutrition and incorporates it into their daily life makes a huge difference in their health and their future well being. Helping kids lead healthy lifestyles begins with parents who lead by example. At Heal n Cure, we develop personalized weight-loss and wellness programs and offer therapeutic treatments for the entire family.
We have a Family practitioner on board with an extensive experience working with adult and pediatric patients in outpatient as well as inpatient settings. That gives them an advantage of treating the whole family, which oftentimes makes it easier for family members to go through the weight loss program and improve their health. Our programs impact the entire family.
Among children aged 6 to 11 years, the prevalence of obesity has more than doubled over the past three decades, rising from 6.5% in 1980 to 17.0% in 2006. The rate among adolescents aged 12 to 19 years has more than tripled during the same period, increasing from 5.0% to 17.6%. (Centers for Disease Control & Prevention) Surveyed United States high school students exhibited the following unhealthy behaviors on a daily basis:
- More than 70% ate fruits and vegetables less than five times.
- More than 30% drank a non-diet soda at least once.
- More than 50% did not meet recommended levels of physical activity.
- More than 30% watched three or more hours of television.

Our laser incorporates exclusive Micro-Pulse technology that enables gentle treatment by taking into account the thermal relaxation time (TRT) of your skin. The effectiveness is optimized using selective photothermolysis technology. The 1064nm laser light is attracted to a combination of melanin, hemoglobin and water in the skin tissue the laser energy passes through the epidermis and selectively targets specific tissue structures without effecting surrounding skin.
The type of treatment is dependent on the individual skin type. The procedures harness the power of pulsed light to blast away superfluous hair. The type of laser that Heal n Cure utilizes for the hair removal procedures eliminates any unwanted hair in a growth and present stages.
An effective treatment requires a clear target (hair follicle) for the laser. Your treatment area should be shaved recently to provide clear targets. Please shave within two to three days prior to your laser aesthetic treatment to ensure smooth and effective procedure. Prior to your procedure please discuss with us any hormonal issues.
For optimal outcomes please don’t expose your skin to sun for an extensive period of time or tan before the procedure. We recommend to wait until the tan fades, although you can still achieve great results while having a tan. Patients scheduled for hair removal should avoid plucking, electrolysis or hair waxing for six weeks prior to their laser aesthetic treatments. Your skin should be clean and thoroughly cleansed and dried prior to the procedure. Note: Sun burnt skin cannot be treated.

MicroPulse-1064™Technology pulse duration is shorter, so energy is delivered much faster into the targeted tissue structures (follicles, vessels, etc.). Targeted tissue has less time to lose heat through conduction to the surrounding skin, Therefore the targeted tissue reaches a higher temperature. A higher temperature in the targeted tissue translates into greater tissue destruction (follicles, vessels, etc.)
